"Nintondo-San" (Nintondo-San)

Saturday was the PCA Swapmeet in Herhsey, PA, and Easter Sunday was the PCA Auto-X in which I entered my '95 Miata, which is on "shit tires" as per one of the instructors... Despite the shit tires and this being my first autocross, I still managed to beat out an NB Miata on brand new Dunlops driven by a guy with a bunch of special tools and knowledge for measuring tire pressure.
Full story tomorrow... Yes, it will include the usual cliches stating how you NEED to autocross your grandmother's '92 Buick Park Avenue right this instant, but it also includes content specific to a certain manual transmission, 5 cylinder, Nogaro Blue Audi, co-developed with Porsche in the early 90's, that was never sold in the U.S... So if you have any sort of soul you'll at least want to read the story for the sake of manual tranny wagons (and my Miata).

Sometimes I think it'd be really funny to try and AutoX my Safari. Then I think about the fact it would probably tip over in a corner. Or not be allowed to because of it's size/top-heaviness

That would be a sight. Maybe just chop the top off and add some lightness? After all, it is a "Safari", shouldn't you be exposed to the elements anyway?

I bet if I took of the 2nd row captain's chairs and third row bench it would add a lot of lightness. It's be an understeering pig though.

You autocrossing your Altima was actually the inspiration for the second paragraph!
